Amy Elisabeth Moore

Amy Moore is thrilled to join the CalMatters College Journalism Network. Amy is a continuing student at Santa Rosa Junior College where she is preparing for her career in journalism and science writing. A former comparative literature instructor, Amy joined the SRJC student newspaper, The Oak Leaf, and has reported on campus science and cultural events, student activism and problems caused by FAFSA delays. In addition to reporting about community colleges, Amy writes about people and science, including green technology, climate change, wildlife and the environment. Amy speaks French and Russian and is learning Spanish.
