Emewodesh Eshete

Emewodesh is a fellow with the CalMatters College Journalism Network. She’s an LA native and an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley. She has been reporting for her school paper, The Daily Californian, since the start of her freshman year with a focus on race and equity reporting and spent one semester as a deputy editor. Through her journalism she hopes to raise awareness on the issues underrepresented communities face, and also using it to celebrate their successes.
